Apparel: It varies, but usually he wears long coats, vests, with shirt and pants to suit. The one thing that never varies is the presence of many pockets, all of them filled with useful odds and ends. He may be seen in fedora hats.

Personality: It takes time for him to warm up to people as he is scared to let them get close, but if he counts you as a friend he means it. If he sees someone in need of assistance he won’t hesitate to lend a hand, but will do so in the cold manner he applies to everyone but his friends. He is an eccentric and this can sometimes make his mood and actions unpredictable, he is honest to a fault and this often leads him into trouble. His most defining characteristic is his loyalty, it is at the core of his existence.

Habits: Occasionally talks in his sleep and is never without a book in one of his many pockets.

Likes: Old music, reading, his few friends, and the moonlight.

Dislikes: Those who harm without just cause, those who try to disrupt his purpose, lies, and apples (they just don’t sit well with him).

Special Ability: When he is killed his soul lingers and his body will heal itself given time, although there are limitations and conditions. If his body is destroyed by being torn to pieces, burnt to ash or anything similar he will not recover, it is unknown what will become of his soul. While his body recovers he is stuck in a coma like state which leaves him vulnerable, most recoveries take anywhere between a few hours to a few days. It is his purpose that allows his soul to remain, if he loses sight of it or fulfils his reason for being then he will simply pass into the next world. However if he isnt destroyed and doesnt pass into the next world he has the potential to exist indefinitely as he doesnt age.

Weapons: A black handgun, a matching white one which he carries but never uses, a scoped rifle of his own design which can fire a number of projectiles and has a very long effective range, finally his switch blade (or flick knife whichever you prefer) which has a blade six inches long.

History: During his early childhood he lived on the very outskirts of Naples in his family home, his father was a prominent member of a group who specialised in slaying all non-human entities of power, namely vampires, lycans, demons and those who practiced magic. His sister had already been initiated into this organisation and his turn would come in two years time. It was around then that he witnessed a brutal assault of a young girl by three men, he intervened and in the process killed one of them. The girl was not going to live, even the young Lock could see this, and so when she asked him to take her somewhere safe he couldnt refuse her. He carried her ruined frame to an old cottage and tried to make her as comfortable as he could. In time her injuries healed and she recovered, Lock cut all ties with his family to prevent them from finding the girl who was so obviously inhuman. Two years past by and in this time the organisation learnt of Locks betrayal and tracked him to the cottage. On the night he was supposed to join them his father led a party to end the lives of both a traitor and a witch, they were welcomed with death as Lock had expected them. But the outcome was inevitable, his father had too many men. As the cottage burned Lock lay with a knife in his heart as the girl was taken from him. His soul burned with the cottage, not with hate, but with loyalty for the girl, his life was irrelevant but she must be protected. It was either a demon or an angel that saw this desire and granted him power, it did not matter to Lock whether he had made a deal with Satin or with God. Once his body recovered he began looking for answers, he needed to find her, this search brought him to his family home where he killed his father when he wouldnt give him answers, his mother and sister shared similar fates. He is still looking for the girl who was taken, he still carries her gun and the memories of those brief years. His mind was damaged when he was brought back from death which accounts for his eccentricity.
